Pähni forest hut

The forest hut stands on the shore of the artificial lake of Pähni, and has served the interests of hikers, holiday-makers, and nature-lovers for ten years already. Pähni nature study trail, which starts at Pähni Nature Centre and is 1.5 km in length, passes by near the forest hut.

LocationPähni village, Rõuge municipality, Võru County. Object no 22 on the recreation area map.
Driving directionsOn Võru–Valga road (Road no. 67), 30 km from Võru, turn left at the Matsi junction (when coming from Valga, turn right 50 km from Valga, follow the sign “RMK Pähni looduskeskus 6”). Drive 6 km to Pähni village. At Pähni Nature Centre turn right before the Pähni stream (follow the sign “Pähni metsaonn”). After 100 m turn left between the spruce hedge and you’ll arrive at the forest hut.
