Elistvere study trail (2 km)
Tartu County, Tartu-Jõgeva Recreation Area
The trail, which starts and is located in the territory of the animal park is about 1 km long and the same way back. It is suitable for a pleasant walk for the visitor of the animal park. The trail is supported with information boards and observation platforms, information about birds is in the observation tower by the lake. The trail can be accessed with a ticket during the opening hours of the animal park.

Vooremaa Landscape Protection Area. Waterways in the protected area are restricted to non-motorised boating.

| Driving directions | Drive 12 km from Tartu towards Jõgeva, then turn right (sign "Elistvere loomapark 10") and drive into Elistvere village. When coming from Tallinn: drive to Jõgeva, then towards Tartu up to Tabivere. Turn left there (sign "Elistvere loomapark 6") and drive into Elistvere village. Start in the Animal Park behind the lynx's enclosure. |
