Kuuraniidu study trail (1,8 km)
- The boardwalk is reaching the end of its life cycle and is partly difficult to pass.
- Kildu-Oksa-Tõramaa road leading to the visitor attraction is muddy and very difficult to pass!
The boardwalk goes through ancient drained peatland forest and back to the starting point. The attractions of the trail are the enormous mighty aspens, which have weathered storms and time. There is a campfire site and camping area at the beginning of the trail. The Kuuraniidu forest has been formed from swamp forest as a result of drainage. The forest can be dangerous in strong winds due to falling trees!

When coming from the direction of Viljandi–Suure-Jaani–Vändra, drive from Kildu village 15.6 km towards Soomaa National Park to the sign marking the Kuuraniidu parking area and start of the hiking trail.
Attention! In winter and during floods the road may not be easily passable by car.
