Paukjärve nature trail (5 km)

Nature trail runs on the hills and valleys surrounding Lake Paukjärv. It is surrounded by different types of forest - the moist and dim boreal forest and the pine forest full of light.

Parking

Parking for 20 cars or max 3 buses in Kaksiksilla parking area at the start of the trail

Amenities

A loop trail, marked with spots of yellow paint on trees, 9 spots of interests with descriptions on the trail, observation tower, campsite on the shore of Lake Paukjärv.

Navigation instructions : On Jägala–Käravete road (Road no. 13), 29 km from Jägala, turn left to the gravel forest road, drive 7.2 km and turn right (follow the sign “Paukjärve”). Drive 2.2 km to Kaksiksilla parking area, where the Paukjärve nature trail starts.
