Mõisamõtsa nature trail (5 km)

The southernmost hiking trail of Estonia is in Mõisamõtsa Nature Reserve.
Parking area of Metsavenna (Forest Brother’s) farm. Ascend 650 to the hill towards Mehka from there. Along the trail there are 4 points of interest introducing the undulating terrain along the Vaidva River and different forest communities. 40 m of the trail is boadwalk.

Driving directionsOn Võru–Valga road (Road no. 67), 37 km from Võru, turn left at the Mõniste junction (when coming from the direction of Valga, turn right at 44 km from Valga, follow the sign “Ape, Mõniste”). 6.5 km after the bridge across the Vaidva River you’ll arrive at the parking area of Metsavenna farm. The trail starts by the road (walk 200 m back and go 450 m uphill along the gravel road).
