A nice rest stop for hikers at the Sõnajala sandstone outcrop. A wonderful view on the Ahja river.

The campfire site is located on the Kiidjärve-Taevaskoja-Kiidjärve hiking trail and Peraküla-Aegviidu-Ähijärve hiking route. On the opposite side of the river is Roiupalu study trail. |

| Restrictions | The campfire site is situated in the Ahja River Valley Landscape Protection Area, information about restrictions can be obtained from the Environmental Board (+372 662 5999, info@keskkonnaamet.ee). |

| Driving directions | Drive along Põlva–Reola road from Tartu towards Põlva. 10 km before Põlva at Koorvere junction turn left towards Kiidjärve. Continue 4.6 km on Akste–Häätaru road (Road no. 18138) towards Akste. Turn right 0.6 km after Kiidjärve Nature Centre to a forest road. Drive 200 m to the parking area on the right. The campfire site is visible from the parking area. |
