Kuuraniidu study trail (1,8 km)

Viljandi County, Soomaa National Park
The boardwalk is reaching the end of its life cycle and is partly difficult to pass.
The boardwalk goes through ancient drained peatland forest and back to the starting point. The attractions of the trail are the enormous mighty aspens, which have weathered storms and time. There is a campfire site and camping area at the beginning of the trail. The Kuuraniidu forest has been formed from swamp forest as a result of drainage. The forest can be dangerous in strong winds due to falling trees!
