Pähni nature study trail (1.5 km)
Võru County, Haanja–Karula Recreation Area
The trail starts and ends at Pähni Visitor Centre. There are 20 points of interest along the trail. Mostly there are no well-trodden paths and you have to find your way over the pasture or through the forest. At each point visitors get directions to go on. Please read the directions carefully at each stop, so as not to get lost.

Driving directions | On Võru–Valga road (Road no. 67), 30 km from Võru, turn left at the Matsi junction (when coming from Valga, turn right 50 km from Valga, follow the sign “RMK Pähni looduskeskus 6”). Drive 6 km to Pähni village. The first building to the left of the road before the Pähni stream is Pähni Nature Centre, the trail starts at the Nature Centre. |
