  • In the case of high water, the use of a campfire site may be difficult
  • The Emajõgi River is navigable in its entire length.
    • Restrictions This is a Natura 2000, Ramsar and IBA site. In the territory of the Nature Reserve are certain restrictions. Further information about restrictions can be obtained from the Environmental Board (+372 662 5999, info@keskkonnaamet.ee).

    Driving directionsThe campfire site can only be reached by water. The campfire site is located in the Peipsiveere nature reserve, on the right bank of the Emajõgi River, about 700 m from the mouth of the Ahja River towards Lake Peipsi. It is about 4.7 km from Kantsi slip at the beginning of RMK Emajõgi study trail, about 35.5 km from Tartu.
