Koiva cultural heritage walking trail (2 km)
Valga County, Haanja–Karula Recreation Area
An interesting and varied 2 km trail, introducing the objects of cultural heritage that were important for our ancestors. For example, sacrificial rock, Tellingumäe village square and observation tower, European spindle plantation, and ancient and resin-tapped pine trees. The trail is equipped with information boards.

Driving directions | On Võru–Valga road (Road no. 67), 53 km from Võru, about 1.5 km after Hargla, turn left (follow the sign “Taheva Sanatoorium”), drive 1.4 km and turn left again. After 1 km drive off the asphalt road onto a narrow gravel road (follow the sign “Tellingumäe vaatetorn”) and the campfire site is after about 1 km. This is also where the study trail starts. |
