Haanja–Karula Recreation Area
This recreation area with its varied landscape and biodiversity lies in the area between the Haanja, Karula and Korneti uplands. The rolling terrain is rich in rivers and lakes – it offers ideal opportunities for versatile recreation, for example walking or cycling, water adventure, fishing, picnicking or nature observation.The Taheva subdivision offers visitors opportunities for active nature recreation: cycling, walking and car tours. The single objects in this area are interconnected with cycling trails. Pähni subdivision with the Visitor Centre primarily provides nature education activities on nature study trails and classroom.
