Linnajärve campfire site
Valga County, Haanja–Karula Recreation Area
The campfire site is on the shore of a small forest lake. The lake is surrounded by transition mire with 80-year-old pine forest and middle-aged mixed pine forest. At the beginning of the summer it is possible to admire the beauty of the cowberry blossoms, and in late summer eat the refreshing cowberries.

| Location | On the shore of a small forest lake, Valga municipality, Valga County. Object no 4 on the recreation area map. |
| Driving directions | On Võru–Valga road, 55 km from Võru turn right at Taheva (follow the sign “RMK Rattarada 50”). Drive 3 km along the small forest road and turn left at the wooden sign of the cycling trail. After about 1 km turn right and uphill at the wooden cycling trail sign. Drive slightly more than 1 km and turn left (follow the sign “RMK Linnajärve lõkkekoht”). You’ll arrive at the campfire site after 100 m. |
